UL LISTED RACK HOLDS THREE HOT-SWAP

 POWER SUPPLIES FOR 3,000 WATTS OUTPUT

Coral Springs, Florida-UNIPOWER's new UL Listed rack is 2U high and holds three Vanguard TVN Series 1,000 watt, hot-swap power modules. The system produces 3,000 watts at 24 or 48VDC in a non-redundant mode; it produces 2,000 watts in a 2+1 redundant mode.

This rack is UL Listed in both the US and Canada. UL Listing means that the complete rack has been tested by UL to its Safety Standards for an "end product" as found in UL 60950.

The rack, which is a standard 19 inches wide, is completely enclosed. It has three IEC 320 AC inputs, one for each power module. The module outputs are paralleled in the rack with their current share terminals connected together. Three switches on the front panel control the three module outputs. There is also a locking bar to hold the modules in the place.

The rear panel has two D-type connectors for the DC output and for control and monitoring functions which include module present, DC power good and AC power fail for each module. There are also remote sense terminals and a current share terminal for paralleling two or more racks.
