UNIPOWER Corporation, the leading hot swap, high density and energy efficient power supply company, announces a new family of fully integrated, smart inverter systems pre-configured to suit a wide range of applications particularly in telecom systems, network equipment and critical industrial systems. According to UNIPOWER, the new power systems feature easy installation with just three external connections – DC standby or battery, load and utility – required for “out of the box” operation.

The systems are configured around hot swap, high density, high efficiency pure sine wave inverters with full N+1 redundancy capability. Gravitas Sabre Series systems feature outputs of either 120 or 230VAC, scalable up to 18kVA, from an input range of 40 to 58VDC. The inverters feature 90% efficiency levels and an operating temperature range of –20 to +70ºC.

Initially, Unipower has announced ten standard, “ship from stock” packages in its new pre-configured Gravitas Sabre Series all including a static transfer switch module and a controller module for intelligent remote and local communications. Sabre’s static transfer switch provides automatic instantaneous load transfer providing secure and uninterrupted operation. The new inverter packages provide either a single bulk AC output, or distributed AC output with or without a manual or maintenance switch.

All UNIPOWER Corporationpower systems meet the requirements of all relevant safety standards including UL60950-1, CSA22.2 No. 60950-1 and EN60950-1 and are RoHS compliant.  Product is currently available from UNIPOWER Corporation’s factories located in the U.K. and the U.S.
